My pre-summer buys!

Summer is quickly approaching, especially for those (like me!) who have an extra long summer this year! The hot weather and beautiful pieces in the shops have lead me to get some summery makeup and clothes already! Here are just a few of my favourites from the last month :)

1)
Currently Topshop is by far my favourite place to buy my summer clothes! I find that I either like everything in there or nothing at all, and at the moment it is definitely a big yes! I recently invested in this cropped t-shirt with flower details around both the bottom of the top and around the sleeve!
I personally shy away from tops which are cropped purely because I don't feel comfortable wearing them, but this top only crops to the top of your jeans which I really like! I have this in plain white as well which I like to wear with patterned chinos, (look at Topshop to see what I'm talking about!) I personally haven't got anything else like this in my wardrobe and I definitely will be wearing it a lot this summer!

2)

I know I'm VERY late to the craze but I recently noticed a lack of eyeshadows in my makeup collection, and with prom approaching, I used this as a perfect opportunity to spend a little bit more on something I really loved! I usually stay on the safe side with bronze and silver eyeshadows but when I saw the colours in the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette I immediately fell in love!

This pallette immediately caught my attention due to the beautiful range of girly, summery colours, and with a pink prom dress and nude shoes I knew these colours would fit the look! I particularly like the colours 'liar' 'nooner' and 'buzz'. I have a pale complexion, so these colours are not too light or dark on my eyes but are still pretty and visible! I also LOVE the variation in glittery eyeshadows and normals colours in this palette...(I love love love glitter!)

3)

M.A.C has definitely become the first place I go to now to look for lipsticks! Not only are the colours so beautiful, but the colour lasts on your lips for long enough that you don't have to touch up 24/7 and they feel super nice on your lips! A friend introduced me to now what's my FAVOURITE piece of makeup and that is the lipstick 'sweetie'. It has a 'lustre' finish which leaves your lips looking so soft, I prefer this to the cremesheen as I like to use a lipgloss over my lipsticks! The colour is fun and for someone with a pale complexion like mine, it really adds a pretty colour to your face!
